EAGLE MHC INTRODUCES NEW HYBRID WIRE SHELVING FOR FOUR-POST HIGH-DENSITY SHELVING SYSTEMS Clayton, Del., July 22, 2009 Eagle MHC’s new Hybrid Shelving allows wire shelves to be integrated with most four-post high-density storage systems. The ability to combine high-density storage system with hybrid wire shelves allows these systems to offer the operating advantages associated with both high-density and wire shelving. Specialized applications in healthcare, museum storage, archive, and evidence storage are examples of some of the market segments hybrid shelving serves. Hybrid wire shelves provide 62% laminar flow that facilitates clean storage, light migration through the product, water migration in the case of sprinkler activation, and improved visibility of stored product. The shelf is designed with a 90% waterfall on both edges and rests over the crossbrace provided by the high-density system. It is engineered to hold 250 pounds with zero deflection. Finishes include EAGLEbrite® zinc, chrome, powder coat, and stainless steel. Options include center stops and ledges. Hybrid wire shelves are available in 12˝ through 36˝ widths and 30˝ through 48˝ lengths. Custom designs for unique storage solutions are available.
