SUMMARY

Cleans, deburrs and polishes metal items by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Buffs, deburrs, and polishes parts with hand tools or buffing cloth. Cleans interior surfaces of holes. Changes tools on powered equipment. Applies abrasive compound, wax, or other dressing to clean or polish.Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions such as work order routings and prints/drawings. 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math abilities.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
